Kohera3D piping
Kohera3D Piping is a cost-effective feature extraction program that provides tools to efficiently fit piping components to 3D laser scan data. This is a standalone program that does not require a CAD program license to fit piping systems.
Piping components can be exported as center lines and precise “snap to points” for use in other CAD and piping software programs such as AutoCAD’s Plant 3D.
Fit cylinders to scan data by selecting one or more seed points along a pipe or by selecting an area of the pipe in the scan data. Extend the cylinder fit for straight pipe across fittings or gaps in the scan data. Add fittings such as elbows, tees, and valves to your pipe sections, and generate their precise snap-to points for design in CAD.

Kohera3D spectrum
Classify or segment your scan data. Assign to custom groups and export for use in other programs.
In simple terms, Kohera3D Spectrum provides the ability to assign scan points to separate groups allowing any item in the scan data to be visually turned on/off, or exported separately from all other points in your scan data. Systems such as piping, equipment, walls, floors, and scheduled demos can all be separated into their own custom groups. Group can be exported as a text file or its own e57 scan file.
We created this module to increase productivity, reduce scan noise, and provide a clean and simplified no clutter approach when modeling from scan data.
